Whether your fleet consists of one or 1,000 railcars, maintenance can be a major expense. With a UTLX full-service lease, we perform all railcar maintenance. If one of your cars needs service, simply notify your customer service representative and arrangements will be made to have the car routed to one of our strategically located repair facilities. UTLX’s extensive service network consists of repair shops, mini-shops and mobile repair teams across the United States, Canada and Mexico, with more than 100 locations to provide you with best-in-class quality and speed of service.

As a leader within the community of railcar builders, lessors and shippers, UTLX is actively involved in U.S. and Canadian regulatory matters, and participates in the Association of American Railroads (AAR) Tank Car Committee and other industry organizations. We have a full engineering team to keep you informed of applicable regulatory developments and provide technical advice on car design and modification programs.
